Got a visitor from Chamonix this weekend. It's Daniel's son (our long time guide in Chamonix) that has set out on a LONG bike trip - 7 months in total - with the goal to reach the North Cape all the way up north i Norway. We did the trip from Moss to Oslo, with a pit stop at Drøbak... in really nice spring weather. Good luck Lionel on your trip!

We where lucky with the weather - sunnish and not too cold. Just perfect for 92km over the mountain (1400 hight meters) from Rena to Lillehammer.

Just our luck...sunny all week before - and the days after - but not on race day! Rain, mud, mud, mud.. but we survived ;-)

Finally after many years....I got to watch a stage of the famous race! It was magic, fantastic! They looked very tiered after Alp d'ueze...but still managed to kick good in the Category 3 "hill" we were in! The dosmetique Arvesen did a very good Tour this year - bot the white and yellow jersey! GO GO GO Sastre!

The 84km long MTB bike race was a warm experince. 30 degrees and sunny... let's just say it was a challenge to drink enough water. Anyway, 3000+ competitiors had found the way and it was a very good track this year. Go here for more details |
